Kiddo and I took her grandparents out for brunch at The Turkish Tea House and there was something for everyone there.
Kiddo and I shared a tabouleh. This was not your average tabouleh from the deli section at Coles. This was a riot of colour and had the addition of red cabbage and piquant pickled chillis as well as the usual tabouleh suspects. So fresh and delicious.
We also shared a vegetarian pita bread stuffed with haloumi, sweet potato, tomato and spinach.
My parents shared a sucuk and eggs which was a take on the familiar of eggs and sausages. It was baked eggs permeated with the spices from the sucuk. Yum!
The manti were little mini ravioli in a yoghurt and mint and paprika sauce. These were so moreish but rich so best shared.
Our brunch drinks were delightful. I had a Turkish apple tea which the camera failed to capture the rosy pinkness of.
Kiddo went with a Turkish lemonade.
My dad went for one of his favourite beverages - a freshly brewed Turkish tea.
The sweet displays looked ever so decadent with syrupy offerings.
We were so pleased to be offered complimentary Turkish delight. This was a pomegranate flavour with pistachios. Hands down one of the best Turkish delights I've had.
The interior is cosy with gorgeous Turkish furnishings throughout. The Turkish Tea House has a gift shop upstairs, well worth a look.
