T2 Mother's Day range (by invitation)

T2 is helping you get into your mum's good books by launching a special range of teas in time for Mother's Day this year (on Sunday, 8 May 2016... put it in your diary!).  To get into my mum's good books, I brought her along to T2's showcase tasting of the special teas and to check out its latest range of tea accessories at its headquarters in Collingwood.

The limited edition Mother's Day teas and tea sets are available from today.  The three limited edition teas are: Happy Sippy Citrus; Smokey Signals; and, Peace, Love & Peppermint.


The Peace, Love & Peppermint tea makes for a more balanced and mellow version of a straight-up peppermint tea.  It's a pretty blend which includes chamomile, peppermint, lavender, rosemary and rose petals.  If you find peppermint tea too cooling or plain, this is the tea for you (or better yet, your mum!).

Smokey Signals is simply a black tea with cinnamon.  As the name suggests, there are hints of smoke and has a deep aroma.

My favourite of the three teas was the Happy Sippy Citrus.  It's very refreshing with a strong citrus and fruity flavour.  The ingredients include hibiscus, lemon myrtle, orange peel, sweet blackberry leaves and safflower petals.
