Cappa Rossi's, Kinglake by Bureaucrat

A lazy drive around the Kinglake area resulted in us having lunch at Cappa Rossi's.  It's only one of a few eateries in the central Kinglake area.  It's friendly, spacious and has a strong family vibe to the place.

My steak sanga was simple and rather tasty.  Nothing fancy here but it was yummy.  Toasted bread with a squidgy fried egg, bacon, salad, cheese and caramelised onions.  It was fairly decent in size and I had to get the Lawyer to help me finish it off.

The Lawyer went for the fisherman's basket.  As with the sanga, it was simple but really good.  Crisp, thin, golden batter.  Chunky seafood and chips, and a fresh squeaky salad.

 He also got a latte.

Verdict: we liked it a lot.

Overall
A really nice simple but good restaurant; worth stopping by if you're in the area.  The dinner menu looks especially tasty, which wouldn't mind trying in the future.
