Jaimin Curry House, Camberwell by Obelix

Jaimin Curry House is a handy little place to know if you are looking for a quick Indian fix on a weeknight or on a can't-be-fagged-to-cook-anything night/day.  That happens a lot in my household.  It offers free delivery within 5km surrounds provided the order is above $30.  Even better.  Sometimes I'm so sloth-like I can't even be bothered leaving the house.  If you can muster enough energy to leave the house, Jaimin Curry House has a few little tables for dine ins.

The prices are very reasonable.  On this occasion, Kiddo and I both had the takeaway lunch deal which is $8.50 for a choice of three curries, rice and pappadams.  I ordered the beef Madras, chicken curry and vegetable curry.  The meats were very tender and it was mildly spicy.  This was quite a decent serve for the price.

Kiddo had the dhal, vegetable curry and butter chicken.  It had lovely chunks of paneer in one of them.

Verdict:  We loved it.

Overall
Jaimin Curry House does good curries at reasonable prices.  The only downside is that their takeaway containers are made of flimsy paper which dissolves in the heat/steam.  I would highly recommend rushing home to eat lest it dissolves in a big pile of curried cellulose.  Otherwise you might want to BYO take away containers or dine in.  It's opposite the post office and there is parking at rear of arcade.
